Announcement: Ink & Leathers Turns Six!

Six years ago today, I decided to start a Fashion Blog.

Six years of this on-again-off-again relationship with my Blog, of taking likely thousands of photos of myself and my clothes, of changing platforms and addresses and templates and learning how to use twitter and instagram and never quite getting the hang of html or my camera or even really how to dress myself...

It has been something of a roller coaster ride, to say the very least.

Birthday Love:

Today is my boyfriend's birthday.

 



 

Being the gooey romantic that I am, I wanted to make some small token of my affections here on the Blog. This shitty collage doesn't even remotely my feelings justice. He is the sinceerest, sweetest man on the planet, and every day the life that we share together brings me an endless source of joy. I couldn't be happier.

 

So happy birthday Sexy Panda - I love you.

Blogging: Four Years Ago Today

As of today, I have been Blogging as Ink & Leather/s for four whole years.

 

I find it hard not to think of my Blog as this static, adamant thing, like a sort of obelisk inscribed with the details of my life, dress sense and opinions. A monument to who I was that will be floating around the interwebs for years and years to come. I think this is largely because there are a few of my old diaries floating around in the cyber ether that are so appalling written and humiliatingly divulging of my neurosis. I have forgotten or lost the passwords to gain access to the Blogs to delete them - and so now they exist as ugly blotches on the cyber landscape, chilling reminders of who I was at 19.
