I decided on the black bowtie to really contrast the
checks of the blazer and shirt, and I think it looks quite good, even if the
bowtie is a pre-tied clip on job.
I realised half-way through the day that taking the
jacket off meant I was wearing an entirely orange outfit, which I wasn’t overly
thrilled with. This daily outfit was made up of:
Navy gingham blazer – Larsen’s Country Store, Etsy
Orange gingham button-down shirt – Polo Ralph Lauren
Black silk cheats bowtie – Tie Rack
Black leather belt – Raphael Steffens
Burnt orange chinos - FCUK
Distressed black leather shoes – Raphael Steffens

And so now I am in the market for a navy and white, and
an orange and white, gingham necktie to add to my collection and to give me
further clashing options. I you chance upon one, give me a yell :)
Loving the gingham on gingham! Orange and blue always looks great
