Daily Outfit: ASOS and Abyss

While placing an order for the boyfriend's birthday present recently, I decided to splurge and grabbed myself a few items at the same time. Two birds, one stone and all that.

I'd had my eyes on this perforated sweater from ASOS for a little while now, and despite the fact that I knew it wouldn't look anywhere near as good on me as it did on the ASOS model, I knew that I wanted to add it to my wardrobe. And I'm already thrilled that I did, because it's is going to be the perfect trans-seasonal piece as we move from winter into spring here in the ACT.

I decided to wear the sweater simply to begin with, and I have to say that I really love the way that it both looks and feels. For it's first outing today I am wearing:

Navy perforated sweater with neon orange trim - ASOS
Navy cotton tank - ASOS
Brown leather belt - Sportscraft
Burnt orange chinos - FCUK
Brown suede loafers with ribbon detail - Raphael Steffens

I saw that local street artist Abyss had posted a picture of this latest piece on Instagram over the weekend, and I decided that I could kill two birds with one stone by snapping my daily outfit photos while I went and photographed the piece. I really love street art, and I've been a huge fan of Abyss for a while now. I know literally nothing about the artist, but I love the many variations of this character, called The Seer, that I see around Canberra in varying forms.
